At airports, using your IQOS is treated in the same way as using e-cigarettes. Outside the Terminal Building there will be designated smoking areas, but inside airports the use of IQOS products is only permitted in clearly signposted dedicated smoking areas. Q: Which airports allow the use of vapes, e-cigarettes and IQOS?
The use of IQOS, e-cigarettes and vapes is permitted in specific areas of some UK airports. Most UK airports prohibit the use of all tobacco products including IQOS, e-cigarettes and vapes after the security check-in. Below is a list of UK and International airports that sell IQOS products and the areas where it is permitted to use your IQOS:
UK Airports:
Gatwick Airport
The use of e-cigarettes is not permitted anywhere inside the North or South Terminals at Gatwick Airport. There are clearly sign-posted areas outside both terminals where vaping is permitted – you won’t be able to vape once you’ve passed
Heathrow Airport
You won’t be able to use an e-cigarette once you’ve passed security at Heathrow Airport, so you’ll have to use the designated areas outside the terminal buildings – vaping is prohibited inside the terminals.
